How To Use the Window Pinning Function Within TM Master

In this article, we'll explain how to use the window pinning function.

Window pinning is mainly used in the components detail view as it allows you to keep the detail view open on whichever tab you chose while switching between components. (either using the component structure or the list)

This function is particularly useful when enabling components for running hours and copying jobs/spare parts/documents between specific components.

This function is also available within the inventory running hours module.

  1. Open any component within the system. I will open the component from the structure view in the example shown below.

  2. Next head to the tab in which you want to pin. In this example i will pin the running hours tab.

  3. Activate the pin tab functionality via the tool on the taskbar. If the outside of the pin is shown in orange as you can see below this means the tab is pinned.

  4. Open any other component from the component list and it will open up, replacing the component you where previously viewing, and will open directly to the pinned tab. (running hours in my example)
