Enabling A Job

In the TM Master software you have the option to enable jobs that have been previously marked as disabled. This will allow you to set a new date and continue with the regular maintenance of the component. An individual job or multiple jobs can be enabled at any given time.

When enabling a new job you will have to select one of three options which can be seen below. This will directly effect the new due date applied to the job.

Enable jobs with the same due difference as before.

This means that if the job had 10 days until it was due when it was disabled, it will be added to the due list with 10 days until due.

Same due date as before.

This will make no changes to the job due date and the job will be added to the due list with the same due date it had when it was disabled. If the job’s due date occurred during the period it was disabled, it will re-enter the due list as overdue.

New due dated based on interval (now + int.).

This option will reset the due date to the current date  + the interval. This means that re-enabling  a job that has a monthly interval today, would receive a new due date which would be a month from now..

Enabling a single job -

  • First activate the disabled jobs filter in the due list and highlight the job you wish to enable. (all jobs with a grey line through the centre are currently marked as disabled)

  • Select the enable job icon on the upper task bar when the job is highlighted and select a due option for the job in question. You have three options to select from and depending on what option you select the new due date of the job will differ.

  • Once the required selection has been made click "ok" to enable the job.

  • The grey strikethrough will now be removed, the job will be marked as enabled with a new due date and can now be signed out as per usual.

Enabling multiple jobs at once -

  • First activate the disabled jobs filter in the due list and highlight the jobs you wish to enable. (all jobs with a grey line through the centre are currently marked as disabled)

  • Select the enable job icon on the upper task bar and you will be presented with a popup allowing you to select the new due option you wish to set on these jobs.

  • As standard this will ask you to set a new due interval for one job at a time. The job you are currently setting the interval for will be visible in the upper half of the window.

  • You can either set the new due date for each job one at a time or select the remember due-option for all jobs checkbox which will apply the same result to all jobs you have decides to activate at once.

  • Once you have made your required selection, click "ok".

  • The grey strikethrough will now be removed, the jobs will be marked as enabled with a new due date and can now be signed out as per usual.
