eLearning Release Frequency Change

We are pleased to announce an improved delivery method for updating Ocean Learning Platform (OLP) with the latest eLearning content.

Beginning January 2026, quarterly USB distributions will be discontinued and replaced with monthly online downloads, together with an annual USB. This enhancement will ensure faster access to the latest regulatory updates, course revisions, and new training modules.

This transition introduces several key benefits: 

• Accelerated Access to Updates 
  You will now receive new eLearning content and regulatory updates within weeks of release, ensuring timely access to critical information without extended waiting periods. 
• Streamlined Delivery Process 
  The new distribution model removes the need for physical media. Content can be downloaded directly to onboard or shore-based systems, significantly reducing administrative effort. 
• Enhanced Regulatory Compliance 
  With monthly releases, you can maintain continuous compliance with the latest STCW, SOLAS, and other regulatory requirements as updates are delivered more frequently. 
• Commitment to Sustainability 
  By eliminating physical USB production and shipping, this transition supports a more sustainable delivery model and our goal of minimising our environmental footprint.
