Comparing the Different Contractor Quotes

To compare the different contractor quotes:

1. Click Docking | Docking.
2. Select your current docking project.
3. Click the top level of your docking project.
4. Click the “Inquiry” tab.
5. Click Show comparison in the menu bar.

A list of all items will appear, and you will find the different contractor prices as columns. The lowest price is marked blue, the highest red.

The prices are by default shown in the default currency.

The upper pane shows a list of the jobs and specification items and the total value of their quotes.

The lower pane shows the specific quotes (for different price details) of the item that is selected in the upper pane If you tick the “show prices in original currency” it will show the prices in the original currency for the contractor.

Note:

• If a contractor is not listed with any prices in the system currency but appear once you click the “Show prices in original currency”, the system is missing an exchange rate for the contractor currency. The exchange rate is added in the [Administration] à [Currency] module.
• If a contractor has been cancelled, then the quotes will be shown with a line through them. The name of the contractor will also be shown with ‘(Cancelled)’ next to it.
