Creating a Docking Project

To create a docking project:

  1. Click Docking | Docking. (If done in the office, make sure the correct “unit” is selected in top menu).
  2. Click New to the far left in the top menu. The following view will appear.
  3. Select the “estimated” start date. (This can be changed later on in the project)
  4. Select one of the following options:
  5. Create a new empty docking project.
  6. Use the Docking template (if you have one)
  7. Use a copy of a previous docking project as a start point for this docking project. (You can choose to include or exclude all “price details”, “job descriptions”, “specifications”, “items” and/or “documents”).
  8. Click OK.
  9. A docking project is created with the name “Docking XXXX”  (Where the X’s represent the year you set as estimated start date).
  10. Click the “General” tab to alter any of the project details.
  11.  Name
  12. Description: The information added here will be included on the front page of the “Docking” project description. Clicking the add [<] button to the right of this field will retrieve vessel details, added for the vessel. (in [Unit] à[Details]) -       Start date, can be changed.
  13. “Price” will be calculated, when required data is available
  14. Docking Category
  15. Project number 
  16. Status
