Exporting Unit Documents

Overview

This article explains how to export all documents associated with a unit in TM Master. The documents will be exported as a ZIP file after the unit export process has been completed.

Procedure

1. Navigate to System → Import and Export.
2. Select Export a Unit.
3. Choose the unit you wish to export documents for.
4. Select a location where you would like to save the unit export file.
5. Wait for the unit export to complete.
6. Once the export has finished, TM Master will prompt you with the option to export the unit's documents.
7. Select Yes.
8. Choose a location to save the documents ZIP file.
9. The system will generate and save the ZIP file containing all documents linked to the selected unit.

Result

You will now have:

• A unit export file saved to your selected location.
• A separate ZIP file containing the unit's associated documents.

Notes

• The document export prompt only appears after the unit export has successfully completed.
• Ensure you have sufficient disk space available in the selected save location before starting the export.
• Keep both the unit export file and document ZIP file together if they are intended to be imported into another TM Master installation.
