Unable to Add Job to Draft from Maintenance Module

Issue

When a user right-clicks on a job in the Maintenance module and selects Add to Draft, an error appears stating that the user does not have permission to perform the action.

Cause

The issue occurs because the required permission “Can Create Job Order” is not enabled in the system settings.

Without this permission, the user cannot create or add job orders to drafts from the Maintenance module.

Resolution

Enable the Can Create Job Order setting in Job Settings.

Steps to Fix

1. Navigate to System.

2. Select Settings.

3. Open Job Settings.

4. Locate the setting “Can Create Job Order”.

5. Enable this setting.

6. Save the changes.

Once the setting is enabled, the user will be able to add jobs to draft from the Maintenance module without receiving the permission error.
