V39.2.0 Compas Release Notes

Disclaimer: All the developments and fixes detailed in the release notes are implemented across all customer environments. However, depending on your company's settings and permissions, certain features may not be accessible or relevant.

🚀 Release Highlights

  • Support added for Malaysia EA 2025 & 2026 Forms
We have added support for Malaysia EA income tax forms for assessment years 2025 and 2026 in Compas. Users can now generate Form EA (2025) and Form EA (2026) using a dynamic template, allowing easy updates by simply uploading the new EA template file for future years.

  • Enhancement to Payslip Template
Payslip template updates now show employer data even without 'Paid by', cutting manual contract changes and risky payroll scripts.

  • Singapore Crew List Enhancements
We have enhanced the validation and export of the Singapore Crew List to remove unwanted punctuation from names and travel document numbers, while keeping valid country-specific characters.
  • Promotion Template Issue Resolved
Promotion templates now display a Download (print) icon in the first column when the 'DocWiz‑Enable CrewPromotions' parameter is enabled, allowing templates to be downloaded as intended.
  • Training Event Comments Added
When creating a training event with a comment, any crew travel request from that event now includes the comment in the travel API’s 'Remarks' field, ensuring key context and instructions are visible in travel workflows.
  • Duplication Key Error Resolved
We fixed an issue where approving a candidate failed if multiple certificates from the same group (e.g. 'Basic Safety') were added. The system now correctly handles multiple certificates in the same group, allowing approval to complete successfully.

Note: All new features and enhancements are available on demand, allowing seamless integration without disruption.
