How to Assign Crew on Visual Planner on Compas?

Introduction

The Visual Planner is a long-term planning tool presented as a Gant chart with ranks, seen on the left-hand side while plotted against the timeline along the horizontal axis.

Go to Vessel on the Search Bar

Click the Visual Planner Tab

New Rank can be added by Clicking on the Specific Rank, then edit, remove or add new Rank.

In order to add an ‘Assignment’ the user will right click on the swim lane and press the Add crew. Additionally, the user can do a select and extend with the mouse that triggers the same Add assignment page. The ‘Tool Tips’ on the planner will assist the user to choose the date interval for the record to be inserted.
