How to Use the Document Verification on COMPAS?

Introduction

Compas features a Document Verification function applicable to all document types uploaded within the document repository section.

Go to the Crew Profile and click on the Documents Tab.

Then Click on Certificates sub tab.

 

How to add certificate on the COMPAS Document Repository?

To add a certificate, click the green plus button and fill in all required fields. Standard data entry rules and mandatory fields apply.

All data in search boxes or drop-down lists for data entry is set up and managed by the customer's system administrators in the master data management sections, such as libraries, within the Compas Admin area.

 

On insert the screen expands and on the right hand side a Documents upload section becomes available. Click to browse or drop a file on the red drop area.

The uploaded Document gets validated for size and type. If the drop area color turns to green, the document can be attached. 

 

 

The screen allows to view and verify the data entry and the scanned document side by side. for any mismatches. 

 

 

Once the document is found correct. the user with Verify permission can mark the document as verified.

How to know a certificate is verified?

All verified documents get an approval green check status that is visible throughout the planning and pre-joining checks.

Whenever the document is edited, it automatically becomes unverified.

How do I use the audit action logger?

A complete audit log is available for all document updates. Click the Audit Logger icon to see the verification history.
