Ocean Technologies Group has ceased applications for the Seagull Safety Officer course (6110), now officially discontinued.

This has been replaced by the MCA-approved safety officer course, covering modules 0646.01-0646.15 (no workbook required).

To obtain the Safety Officer course certificate, please submit the following documents:
 

• A completed Certificate Application Form, signed by both the candidate and the verifying person.
• A copy of the ID (e.g. passport) of the person signing the documents (verifying person).
• A copy of the ID (e.g. passport) of the candidate.
• A copy of the verification of training from modules #646.01 – 646.15, duly signed and stamped by the verifying person. For these modules, the following criteria must be fulfilled:
• A minimum of 95% completion within the last 12 months.
• A score of 75% or above in the assessment.
• Evidence of 12 months of sea service OR a copy of a valid STCW Certificate of Competency (Deck or Engine).
