Unit Collections

Use Case

Limiting the amount of Purchasing records loaded is useful for improving loading times. Using Unit Collections is one way to do this by limiting the initial data loading to only the units in the Unit Collection.

This works in a similar way to Unit Groups but on a per user basis and is a user's personal setting. This configuration will limit the data displayed to only the vessels you selected, reducing the overall data load and resulting in improved performance.

Example:

Unit Collection Setup

1. You can setup your unit collections by going to "their" Place ->Preferences->PO as seen below.
2. Click the Star button to add a new collection.
3. Select units from the available units and click on the >> button to put them into the collection.

Managing Existing Collections

Select a collection and click the Pencil button to edit the collection.

or

Select a collection and click the red X button to delete the collection.

Multiple Collections

You can setup multiple collections depending on your personal preference.
