TMv2 May 2025 | Fleet Maintenance | (Minor) Release Notes

🎉Enhancements and New Features

[ENHANCEMENT] [ESTIMATEDDELIVERYDAYS’ FIELD ADDED TO EXCEL IMPORT SHEET]

  • On the item excel import sheet, a new field titled ‘EstimatedDeliveryDays’ has been added.

Preconditions:

  1. Open TM2.
  2. Select the database version.
  3. Click OK.

Reproduction steps:

  1. Log into TM2.
  2. Click on the Inventory dropdown menu.
  3. Click the Items menu item.
  4. Select the relevant item and click the (export) icon.
  5. Label the file, choose a location, and click Save.
  6. The downloaded file appears, click Open.

The excel will open the following 2 sheets ‘Update existing items’ and ‘New items’.

The ‘Estimated Delivery Days’ column is available on both sheets.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[ENHANCEMENT] [NEW ‘FLEETWIDE ITEMS’ INVENTORY MODULE ADDED]

  • A new module, ‘Fleetwide Items’, has been introduced.
  • For vessel users, it offers an overview of stock and usage across the fleet, aiding in item transfers and preventing duplicates.

Preconditions:

  1. Open TM2.
  2. Select the database version.
  3. Click OK.

Reproduction steps:

  1. Log into TM2
  2. Click on the System dropdown menu. 
  3. Click the Settings menu item. 
  4. On the General tab, in the bottom right-hand corner, click the Items tab.
  5. Click Enable ‘All Items’ grid.

Enabling this feature adds a module to Inventory | All Items.

It displays a grid of all item types in the fleet, including vessel installations.

Items accessed from this view will lack stock details if they are not present on the selected vessel.

Affected Users:

This is applicable for all users.

 

🛠️Bug Fixes

[DETAIL WINDOW | MOVABLE PROFORMA COMPONENTS DID NOT UPDATE]

  • Issue:
    • Component details failed to update when switching between components on a movable proforma (with multiple invoice lines).

  • Affected Users:
    • This is applicable for users of the Movable Assets module.
  • Outcome:
    • This issue has been fixed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[NEXT DUE’ AND ‘DATE SIGNED’ WERE INCORRECTLY POPULATED DURING SIGN-OUT]

  • Issue:
    • When signing out a job for the first time, the ‘Next Due Date’ and ‘Date Signed’ fields on the Job History form showed incorrect dates for newly created jobs that had been ‘Issued’.
      • (The ‘Date Signed’ should reflect the current date, while the ‘Next Due’ should indicate the expected next due date based on job settings.)
  • Affected Users:
    • This is applicable for all users.
  • Outcome:
    • This issue has been fixed.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[EXCEPTION ERROR APPEARED FOR MANDATORY UNIT PARAMETERS]

  • Issue:
    • On the Unit | Details window, when adding a parameter and saving changes, an object ref error appeared.
      • Error: Missing Mandatory Fields The unit can not be saved because of the following missing mandatory fields: fffm-259TextMan
      • (This occurred if there was a mandatory parameter for units, and the ‘Parameters’ tab was not clicked before saving.)
  • Affected Users:
    • This is applicable for all users.
  • Outcome:
    • This issue has been fixed.
