🎉Enhancements and New Features

[ENHANCEMENT] [TIME FORMAT UPDATED]

• In OLP, the format for time used is hh:mm:ss.

The following has been updated:

• User Interface (UI)
  • CES test details (Records - CES Tests) - Time used - 00:00:00 (instead of Time used (min) 0)
  • Training details (E-Records - E-learning) - Total time used 00:00:00 (instead of Total time used 00:00)
  • Add record - E-learning - Time used (min) – No changes.
  • Training library - E-learning - Estimated duration 00:00:00, Total time used 00:00:00 (instead of 00:00)

• For certificates generated from the GCC Course and OLP Verification of the Training document, the DNV logo has been updated.

• In Security Settings, a new ‘Delete’ checkbox has been added to the following breadcrumb trail:
  • Office: Performance Appraisals | Overview

For special users who have this setting enabled, the ability to manually delete appraisals from Post appraisals has been added. This includes the following statuses:

• In progress
• Upcoming
• History

The ‘Delete’ feature has a red background and is placed on the right side of ‘Open’.

After deleting the appraisal, the result should be removed from the Performance appraisal section and the table of records in the trainee’s card.

• In the excel format of the of Required proficiencies report, each folder has been split into separate columns.

• If the proficiency path has a different depth, empty cells will appear in the report.

• When generating report, the number of columns will always display as maximum depth of current structure.

• Performance improvements have been applied for eLearning Player APIs:
  • FinalizeElearningResult
  • UpdateElearningProgress
  • CreateElearningResult
  • StartElearningSession

After results are created or updated, the competence cache is updated for certain users.

For Maintenance Service:

• A service refreshes each customer's cache at intervals specified in the config file.
  • The cache will refresh for all users (simple refresh).
• A queue/dictionary system now tracks the database name and timestamp of cache refresh requests.
  • When a new Refresh Cache request is received, the service updates the timestamp and database name in the dictionary.
• Each cache refresh for a customer clears the database from the dictionary.
  • If the dictionary lacks the database, the refresh will be skipped (e.g. no new customer requests since the last refresh).

For OLP:

• The cache recalculation logic in the OLP backend has been updated for specific users and simple refreshes.
  • When cache recalculation is necessary, OLP requests the Maintenance service, which adds the customer to the Dictionary.

• The requirement status has been updated. It will be updated periodically (rather than updating it for every user in real time).

A new report titled ‘Training Completion Report’ has been created.

Note:

• This report does not list the completion time.
• This report does not list the score achieved.
• This report shows the learning objectives of the learning module.
• This report shows any regulations the training was designed to satisfy.

[QR CODE MISSING FROM REPORT]

• Issue:

  • When generating the (training document) report, the QR code was missing and a ‘String length is out’ error message appeared.

• Outcome:
  • This issue has been fixed.

• Issue:

  • In the reference editor, the validation message ('Failed to complete operation') showed incorrectly for certain e-learning modules.

  • This issue has been fixed. (The validation message has been updated to say, ‘At least one related module is required to save record as a course or bundle’.)

• Issue:

  • The company notice ITRs incorrectly appeared on the enrolments and individual requirements for the personnel report, when they should be hidden.

• Issue:

  • When trying to add service records for users, an error message appeared stated insufficient rights. However, the vessel admin rights should be sufficient to perform these actions.

• Issue:

  • This issue has been fixed.

• Issue:
  • For the e-learning result, the times (durations) from all Lessons/Chapters were summed up (sum of seconds from each chapter) and rounded down (floor) to full minutes.
    • For example, if the sum of times from all chapters was 45 seconds, the total time showed as 0 minutes.
• Outcome:
  • This issue has been fixed.

• Issue:

  • The training requirement definition incorrectly calculated the score of 96% from 4 tests in the rapid e-learning module. This caused an incorrect minimum total score meaning personnel could not clear the requirement.

  • This issue has been fixed.

  • In the ‘Schedule’ section, when clicking ‘Run Test’ for the scheduled STCW CES tests, the action did not perform as expected and an error appeared.

  • For the 'STA Chapters' menu, the timesused was incorrectly displayed.

  • This issue has been fixed. (The required 'Minimal Score' now correctly appears as '10'.)

• Issue:
  • When trying to confirm the ‘Company notice’ and clicking ‘Accept’, no results were saved or added into the database.
    • Additionally, the icon did not appear to present this activity as completed.
• Outcome:
  • This issue has been fixed.

• Issue:
  • In 'Configuration'/'Requirements', when validity was set, the following unnecessary text appeared:

• Issue:

  • Previously, in the left-hand menu, when clicking 'My requirements', it did not redirect to the 'My Requirements' page as expected.

• Issue:

  • On the ‘My Requirements’ page, the scroll bar was missing. (The scroll bar was only visible if the page was refreshed.)

  • When trying to register the e-learning module 0053 as final, an error appeared stating ‘Something went wrong’.

• Issue:

  • On the 'Home' page, the e-learning tiles appeared as 'Completed' if though the requirement was outdated.

  • This issue has been fixed.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------[WISDOM - TRAINING COMPLETION REPORT | MULTIPLE REPORT ISSUES]

• Issue:
  • On the report, the following issues were present:
    • The report failed to generate.
    • In the ‘Report criteria’ box, the e-learning dropdown menu was empty (the value ‘All’ should be the default value).
    • The Show only E-learning records with minimum score parameter showed as ‘0%’ (the value should be ‘75%’). 
    • The ‘Ocean Technologies Group’ logo was incorrectly scaled.
    • The learning objectives contained incorrect html characters.
    • The Regulations contained incorrect html entries.
    • When the vRegulations or vLearningObjectives values were too long they overlapped with the bottom part of the report. (truncated or flows into next page)
    • According to Report requirements the description of the report should be different and should state: “This report is a training completion report and it will show e-learning modules that have been completed, along with the learning objectives and any regulations the module covers. You can select an e-learning module in the criteria window after clicking the “Generate“ button. This report is only available for a limited selection of modules.“
    • The Regulations in the report should be displayed in a bulleted list similarly to Learning objectives.
    • When Report is empty then it should be displayed in Task & Notifications as ‘EMPTY’ as Detailed e-learning report.
• Outcome:
  • This issue has been fixed.

  • When a signature was added, the report would fail to generate.

  • When rapid e-learning results had been exported and produced a large rapid results number, an error appeared.

• Issue:
  • Previously, for those who have scheduled Marlins English tests (MATE.tblMarlinsEnglishTestSchedule) or Marlins English tests results (MATE.tblMarlinsEnglishTestResult), it was impossible to perform operations for personnel such as changing or merging ID.
  • Additionally, a log error appeared.
• Outcome:
  • This issue has been fixed.

• Issue:

  • Previously, once the appraisal was created, trainees could click ‘(Action) | View’ and see their (incomplete) appraisal results that have not been submitted by an evaluator.

• Outcome:
  • This issue has been fixed. (The Performance appraisal feature has been updated to allow trainees to see their final appraisal results.)

• Issue:

  • Previously, the rapid e-learning question text overlapped (over images) and could not be read properly.
