Updating OLP Application and Contents

The Ocean software kit is required to carry out this update. 

This article describes how to update the OLP application and its contents.

To update:

  1. Insert the USB-Black into your computer and open the folder. Double-click on “Ocean installer” to start the application.
  2. Follow the onscreen instructions. Take note of the “Choose components” screen. You can select whether to install all e-learning content (select “Complete content”) or limit the installation to the modules included in your subscription (select “Scope content”).
  3. Once the installation is completed, please generate an export of your latest training results and send it to your company’s training address. Within the hour you will receive a reply with an updated configuration file for you to import in Ocean Learning Platform which completes the upgrade.  
  4. If Ocean Company Specific Content (USB-BLUE) has been delivered, install this by running the application “Ocean Training Library” found on the USB.
